On 1st June 2016 the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue will be live! How exciting!
Over the next few weeks I will be saying goodbye to some of the products that are retiring from the current catalogue and today I am starting with the In Colours 2014 - 2016, Lost Lagoon, Blackberry Bloss, Hello Honey, Mossy Meadow & Tangelo Twist
I have cased one of my own cards which has been very popular on Pinterest. Click here to see the original version.
The first card showcases Lost Lagoon. This is my favourite colour of all time and I am very sad to see this go. Its going to be Pool Party all the way now.

This is Blackberry Bliss. This used to be one of my favourites but I have found I turn toward Perfect Plum more now I am using more muted tones. I used this colour in my very first Pinkies blog hop, which was also one of my first blog post. Click here to see this card.
Hello Honey is such a lovely colour, not one I tend to use that much. I really like how it looks on a screen card that I made, click here to see it.
Mossy Meadow is a colour I haven't really used before so I am glad I made this project so I had a chance to use it before it retired.
This is Tangelo Twist. I don't tend to use orange very much in my projects, I think that's because I tend to think of Halloween.
Thank you
I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you! My entry into Kylie's International Blog Highlight made it into the top 10 which means I will have the opportunity to take part in an international blog hop with demonstrators from around the world.
Thank you SO much for voting for me x
I am taking part in Kylie's International Blog Highlight again today and the theme is Thank You!
Thank you cards are my favourite cards to make. Whilst I love social media for connecting with people and keeping in touch, it has changed the way we do things and less people these days send thank you notes and birthday cards. As a crafter I still love to make handmade cards instead of just leaving a note on a facebook wall, isn't it always nice to receive some happy mail?
Today's cards are being sent to demonstrators in the same group as me - the Pinkies! We are a fabulous group and we always help each other when we need it. If anyone is looking for a retired product - either for themselves or for their customers - we shout out and see if anyone has the product and someone almost always has what we are looking for.
I have 3 packages going out this week and the payments I received are re-invested back into new products. Therefore, I am thankful I could help my fellow demos, I am thankful their customers receive the product they absolutely had to have and I am very thankful that I can buy new products! It's smiles all round.
Please vote for me
It would make my day if you could take a minute to head over to Kylie's blog (click here) and vote for my card. All you need to do is click on the heart in the top right hand corner of the picture. My entry is number 20.
Thanks for stopping by, please leave a comment to let me know if you liked my card.
Don't forget you can also subscribe to receive a notification every time I update my blog. I am also currently building a newsletter subscriber list. I have a free tutorial that I will be sending out as in the next month or two.
Oh happy days! Sneek peek and my watercolour sketch challenge entry for the Global Design Project #GDP034
Monday, May 2, 2016
I've entered this weeks Global Design Project #GDP034 sketch challenge and have used one of the new stamp sets called Scenic Sayings and the new Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder from the upcoming 2016-17 Annual Catalogue . I promised myself I wasn't going to touch any of my new products until 1st June but when I saw this sketch I knew I just had to.
I'm not the best at water colouring, this is definitely one skill I really need to work on! So with this in mind I kept it simple and stuck to one colour and I think Pool Party looks fab with the copper embossing. I hope you like it!
