Just a quick project from me today! I've decorated these mason like jars and have filled them with strawberry bon bons!
If you live in the UK, I got these jars from Home Bargains from the Wedding section. They were a bargain at 35p each.
I made a similar version last year and gifted these enclosed within a milk carton style box. I also included these jars in the Christmas Eve box I made for my family who were staying over last Christmas.
Okay so I may not have any children but doesn't mean I can't make a Christmas Eve box! I decorated a Gift Box and added silver shredded paper inside and filled it with bits and pieces for myself, my husband and for my mum and my brother who were staying with us.
I've supported Maple Molly's for over 11 years now as they made the fortune cookies for our Wedding in Mauritius in 2009 and I have repeatedly ordered from them every year for a number of occasions - birthdays, valentines, anniversaries, baby showers, Christmas parties and team thank you gifts.
They were a tiny business when I first used them and it is truly wonderful to see how much they have grown, especially during this pandemic. Thankfully I managed to get my order in just in time as they had to stop taking orders due to the volumes - I'll share the pictures when they arrive mid December and will try to incorporate some into a project!

Back to my project - to create the decoration I used the Wrapped in Christmas stamp set from Stampin' Up! I stamped the image in Blushing Bride ink and die cut it using the Layering Circles dies, adding a scalloped circle underneath in Blushing Bride. The twine is now retired but suits this project perfectly.
Unfortunately my husband caught sight of the left over bon bons and they were gone in a flash. So more will be added to my shopping list!
Using the Snowflake Wishes stamp set by Stampin' Up!, I've created this set of 4 mini notecards and envelopes, packaged in a decorated acetate box
These 3" x 3" mini notecards are the perfect size to send festive wishes to those people that provide important services such as the newspaper delivery person, milkman, window cleaner or your local delivery driver(s) - especially with all those extra deliveries this year!!
I've only used two colours - Seaside Spray and Misty Moonlight. To achieve these different looks, I've used techniques such as 'stamping off' (also known as second generation stamping), I also used a sponge dauber on the stamp to create multi coloured stamped images.
I was spoilt for choice as there are 11 different snowflake stamps in the Snowflake Wishes stamp set.
I decorated the acetate box with a belly band, which I embossed with the Winter Snow embossing folder. Attached to the belly band are circles die cut using the Layering Circles dies - one stamped using the same techniques as the card, the other, a scalloped circle die cut from Seaside Spray cardstock.
Although they are hard to see in these photographs, there are some Whisper White die cut snowflakes peeking out from under the banner.
All of the banners have been punched out of Seaside Spray cardstock using the Banners Pick a Punch.
The beauty of this punch is that you can create banners of any length you choose with a choice of 3 different widths - 1/2", 3/4", 1" (1.3 cm, 1.9 cm, 2.5 cm). You also get to choose two different style ends making this punch perfect for using with any of the Itty Bitty sentiments stamp sets.
In fact, I've used the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set for all of these sentiments. This is such a handy stamp set to have in your stash. Since last Christmas, I've pretty much used every stamp!
The sentiments have all been stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder and as you can see each banner has been created to perfectly fit the sentiment.

I have created a super simple birthday card with the Sailing Home stamp set and Smooth Sailing dies. I love a bit of #simplestamping now and then!
This set is perfect for creating cards for men! The stamps are called distinktive stamps, they are beautifully detailed - all the hard work has been done for you!
I've used a pattern from the Boho Indigo DSP that I think looks a bit like a fishing net - or maybe it's closer to chicken wire? I've added Night of Navy ink blending to the DSP
I cut a window through in the DSP with the Stitched Nested Labels dies. I then used the same die to cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock, to fit in the centre, which I have layered using dimensionals.
I stamped the lighthouse in Night of Navy onto Whisper White cardstock and have die cut it and layered it with dimensionals onto the Nested Label.
For the sentiment, I stamped Happy Birthday using the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set. I also added a Clear Epoxy Droplet to the top of the Lighthouse, where the light would be.
