I've created these two card envelopes using Sale-a-Bration items - this sale ends TOMORROW so don't delay if you want to add these lovely products to your craft stash.
I have used the Paper Blooms DSP (which you can select for free with a £45 + P&P order) and the Touch of Ink Stamp Set (which you can select for free with a £90 + P&P order) - to get both of these you would need to place an order of £135 + P&P - I don't have an online store at the moment, if you are interested in placing an order, please contact me by email - info@handmadebykim.co.uk
I've selected two different patterned paper designs to create a pink and a blue version.
I used Stampin' Blends to colour the butterflies from the Touch of Ink Stamp set, to tie in all of the colours together. I've used Pink Pirouette (retired) and Rococo Rose and Seaside Spray and Misty Moonlight.

For the card on the left I've used Rococo Rose & Blushing Bridge cardstock and ink. For the card on the right, I've used Misty Moonlight and Seaside Spray cardstock and ink.
For the card base, you'll need a piece of cardstock that measures:
You can use this card envelopes to send a handwritten note to a friend or to enclose a gift card!
Here are the dimensions if you want to make your own.
- 8 1/2" by 6 1/2"
- Scored on the long side at 2 1/2" and 6 1/2"
For the cardstock layer in-between the base and the DSP, you'll need to cut cardstock that measures:
- 1 7/8" by 5 3/8" (bottom piece)
- 2 3/8" by 5 3/8" (top piece)
For the DSP layers, you'll need to cut DSP that measures:
- 1 3/4" by 5 1/4" (bottom piece)
- 2 1/4" by 5 1/4"
For the notecard, you'll need to cut cardstock that measures:
- 4 1/2" by 3 1/2" (bottom layer)
- 4 1/4" by 3 1/4" (top layer)

Kim Price - You are here
Just a quick post from me today as I just had to share this card I created with the Stampin' Up! A Touch of Ink stamp set!
You can select this stamp set for free with a qualifying order of £90 plus P&P - but be quick, Sale-a-Bration ends on 28th February 2021.
This stamp set is perfect for #simplestamping!
You can stamp the outline of these images and either colour them in by hand (using Stampin' Blends or Watercolour Pencils) or, you can use the additional stamp that goes alongside the outline, to quickly add colour to the background
Naturally I chose this second option, it was so easy but I also quite liked the effect - where the colour doesn't stay within the lines!
I stamped the outline images in black Memento ink and then to add some subtle colour, I used Pool Party for the bird, So Saffron for the Flowers and Soft Sea Foam for the leaves.
I have used the fabulous True Love DSP for the striped patterned paper background. The stamped images look great against this, while adding additional interest.
For the sentiment, I stamped 'Best Wishes' in Versamark ink onto Basic Black cardstock and heat embossed it in white. This has been die cut with the Stitched So Sweetly dies.

Butterflies totally remind me of spring, so this was the perfect occasion to use the new Brilliant Wings dies that are available to purchase from 2nd March!
I haven't used the coordinating Butterfly Brilliance stamps yet so keep an eye on my blog to see what I create with them!
To create this card, I've used the gorgeous Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper, Purple Posy Cardstock, Misty Moonlight ink and Vellum . I've also added a few of the Pastel Pearls in Seaside Spray.
The sentiment is from the A Touch of Ink stamp set which you can select for free during Sale-a-Bration with a qualifying purchase of £90 + P&P from Stampin' Up! Contact me to place your order.
Next up is Stefanie and she has a lovely project to show you. Simply click on her name at the top of the list below to visit her blog and then repeat, working your way down the list and back to the top, until you end up back here!

I'm afraid I don't have any instructions. Having seen one or two of these style cards, I kind of winged it.
I have used the gorgeous Paper Blooms DSP which you can select for free with every £45 you spend (excluding P&P).
I've also used the In Colour 2019 - 2021 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper. The spotty pattern was just the perfect background for the flowers.
I LOVE these colours, especially Seaside Spray - I'm so sad we only have a few more months left before they retire at the end of April. Don't forget to buy the ink pads and the reinkers before they sell out!
Fussy cutting these flowers from the Paper Blooms patterned paper was really easy. I put on a good boxset and started to work on a 6" x 12" piece of DSP.
I love playing around with combinations and having choice. I also like to find ways to use flowers that might not be whole, tucking them behind larger flowers.
The Seaside Spray card has a less busy layout than the Rococo Rose card. If I had to choose a favourite, it would be that one as I naturally the prefer less is more look.

Kim Price - You are here!
Yes, that's right. You are looking at a Christmas card and yes, I know it is only February!
We are back with the Stampin' for Christmas blog hop, bringing you ideas for your Christmas papercraft projects, once a month for the rest of this year!
It's 322 days until Christmas however, if you are a planner or simply love creating Christmas cards like I do, there is absolutely nothing wrong with crafting for Christmas all year round.
You'll find inspiration here today from papercrafters and demonstrators with a common love for all things Stampin' Up!
If you have arrived from Rochelle's blog or you are a regular subscriber, I am thrilled that you have stopped by - welcome to my blog!
Even though I love Christmas, I'll admit this is the first time I have EVER created a Christmas card out of season - the upside was that it was a lot of fun to combine a different range of products and colours to create my card!
I've used the Snowflake Wishes stamp set and So Many Snowflakes dies along with BRAND NEW products from the Mini Catalogue and Sale-a-Bration promotion from Stampin' Up!
