This week I decided to join in on the fun and design something for the Global Design Project. This weeks sketch #GDP018 is designed by Teneale Williams, I love her work, make sure you check out her website!
Here is a copy of the sketch in this weeks challenge that I have based my design on.
I've used the new Going Places DSP from the Spring Summer Catalogue. I love this designer series paper, the colours and style reflect my personal taste and style.
There was lots of die cutting and no stamping with this project. I used the star from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits die to die cut into the circle. I then place a piece of silver foil card behind the star. I also added some of the Pool Party Glitter Ribbon behind it for a little bit of sparkle.
I've really enjoyed making this card using this sketch and I think I will be joining in on this challenge more often! Why don't you join in too? All you have to do is create a card based on this sketch, publish a blog post and link it back to the Global Design Project by 3pm on Monday 18th January.
