I'm like a magpie and adore anything shiny, so when I found out that there were foil sheets in new colours the Mini Catalogue, I was very happy!
The new Love You Always Foil Sheets come in three colours and there 2 x 12" x 12" sheets of each colour in the pack - Sahara Sand, Rococo Rose and Blushing Bride ❤
The snowflakes on my card were originally die cut from white cardstock - thankfully I didn't adhere them to my card on Wednesday evening and left my project to finish the next evening. Then, as if by magic, my Stampin' Up! parcel finally arrived, a day earlier than expected on Thursday so I just had to change up my design and I am really pleased with the result.
Before I die cut my snowflakes, I grabbed an Adhesive Sheet and applied it to the back of a Rococo Rose Foil Sheet. I die cut enough snowflakes to create a diagonal pattern from corner to corner on my card base.
Adding the adhesive sheets made it so easy to apply the intricate die cuts to my card. They are an absolute must have in my opinion.
The background is the stunning Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper that you can select for free with a qualifying spend of £45 plus delivery.
I chose a piece of the Blackberry Bliss patterned paper and cut it to fit the card base. I then spent some time deliberating which way the ombre pattern should go..... decisions, decisions!
I then selected a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock for the sentiment from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set which I stamped in Versamark Ink and then heat embossed in white.
For the final touches, I added ink splatters using the Champagne Mist shimmer paint. In hindsight I should have added this first but it was an afterthought and if I was to recreate this card again, I would definitely do this first.
