Here is the last card I am sharing following my fun experiments with the Gilded Leafing the other day. I managed to die cut two butterflies from a piece of cardstock covered in Gilded Leafing and here is the second one.
I cannot wait to discover more ways I can use this fab embellishment as I just love the effect it creates (I just wish it came in silver too)
I've been creating cards using my favourite retiring products and the Boho Indigo DSP is certainly one of those. The patterns and colours are just gorgeous! To give it a linen look I've dry embossed the paper in both directions using the Subtle Embossing Folder, which is unfortunately now out of stock.
My final project in my nine part Boho Indigo DSP Series is a decorated wreath!
This is a gorgeous handmade home decor project using up scrap pieces of coordinating patterned paper.
The sentiment I've used makes this suitable for a wedding present - however, just a simple change of words can make this suit any occasion!

Having made so many projects from just one Boho Indigo Product Medley Refill, I had lots of pieces left over that were perfect to use in this project.
I cut approximately 80 strips of patterned paper, varying in width - between 1/4" to 1/2" wide and 5" long.
The length of the strips entirely depends on the size and style of your wreath. I would suggest cutting about 20 strips at a time. This is so you don't cut more than you need - although if you have some left over, take a look at my pencil tin as an example of how you can use them!
For this project, I have used a polystyrene foam wreath, 20cm wide, with a flat back. It's nowhere near as large as a wreath you might hang on your door at Christmas. If you're making a wreath that size, you'll need a lot more strips of paper!
I applied double sided sticky tape directly to the polystyrene and then wrapped the paper around it, giving the paper a bit of a curl with my bone folder beforehand so it sat nicely on the curved sides.
I have wondered since if using a liquid glue would work just as well - do let me know if you have tried this!
I applied the strips of paper in a anti clockwise direction, slightly overlapping them each time.
Of course you can apply it in a clockwise direction too, just make sure you continue in the same direction, clockwise or anticlockwise, so all of the pieces are overlapping in the same way.

I've chosen a lovely sentiment from the Forever Blossoms stamp set. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock. I applied Gold Embossing Powder and used my Heat Tool to set it.
I layered the sentiment onto another piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and then added it to the centre of one of the pieces from the Forever Gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper.

For the finishing touches, I added the gold Gilded Gems to the front of the wreath. I also added a loop of Very Vanilla Metallic Edge Ribbon (ti hand the wreath) to the back using a drawing pin.
Even after making these nine projects, I still have lots of the kit left over and I haven't even used the die cut elements yet!

I've adored stationery for as long as I can remember.
Notebooks are my weakness - they can be pretty or practical. I love them all!
I like to be organised and I'm a planner, I use note books for many purposes - to write down my ideas and make lists, to name a few....
Today I am sharing a fun stationery project I've created with the patterned paper from Boho Indigo Product Medley.
I've created the pieces inside using bits and bobs I had stashed in my craft room. I often buy things that I know I'll use in future papercraft projects - especially if they are a bargain. I've got a draw full of sticky notes, uncovered note pads and tins of all shapes and sizes.
The tin I've used in today's project measures - 220 (L) x 160 (w) x 25 (h) mm and is from a company called Tinware that are based in the UK.
I have made projects using this sized tin before but this time I decided to design it with it in a landscape position. The idea is that you can choose to keep the tin open in an upright position when using the stationery.
Using my ruler and my corner punch, I've measured cardstock and paper to fit the lid, the inside of the lid and the base. I've used Very Vanilla and Misty Moonlight cardstock and the Boho Indigo patterned paper
All of the patterned paper you can see on all of the pieces within this project has been embossed with the Subtle embossing folder for a lovely linen look.
As you can see, I have added a calendar to the inside of the lid . This is held in place by a magnet so it can be changed easily every year.
I have also added in an area to store pens, using just a bit of ribbon adhered to cardstock to keep the pens in place.
In my draw of bits and bobs, I also store hoard all of the Stampin' Up! pens I have collected from various events over the last 7 years. Imagine my delight when I discovered that I had three pens in navy blue to match this project! The other two pens can be seen in my previous project!
Held within the tin are some sticky notes, a paperclip pot (tin) and a notebook.
I made sure I used different (but complimentary patterns on every piece.
For my sticky note holder, I've used magnets to keep the cover in place.
I've decorated the inside too!
The paperclip tin fits within the larger tin. I've decorated the lid and added a Misty Moonlight bow.
I located my retired Stampin' Up! paperclips to put inside. Do you remember any of these?
For various reasons, I haven't decorated the outside of the notebook. One being that any 3D decoration on the front will just get damaged really easily.
When you open it you will see I have created a pocket to hold some tags.
I wanted to add some sticky notes but I also wanted to hide them as they were just so bright in comparison to the colours in my project. So I added a flap to hold the tags and cover the sticky notes.
Again, these sticky notes are another stash - they were 50p each from Morrison's many years ago (maybe five or six years ago?) Every time I go to Morrison's, I always check the stationery section for them but they are no more. I have about 4 left so I'm good for now but I'll still be checking!
As you can see from following my Boho Indigo DSP Series, you can do SO much with the beautiful Stampin' Up! patterned paper and create something unique!

As you can see, I don't limit myself to just making cards. I love to make all sorts of projects!
That's why I have designed 9 different projects for this series.
There are no cards in the last three projects and I hope you stick with me to see what I've had so much fun creating!
In case you are just catching up, everything I have created in this series predominantly features the gorgeous Boho Indigo patterned paper.
Unfortunately, I don't have the stamp set and dies from the Product Medley (I've only got the Product Medley Refill), so instead I've demonstrated how this paper can be coupled with many other stamps and dies from Stampin' Up!
Today's project is a simple one but perhaps not so practical. It's a decorated pencil tin and it was fun to make!
I'm not going to pretend this is durable as I doubt it would withstand any day in a backpack.
FYI it's definitely not been created for children.
I created this design using the scrappy technique - using strips of varying widths, of all the different patterns. The pattern order is random, although I made sure there weren't two strips of the darker blue together as I found that more pleasing on the eye
I've kept the strips straight. The wonky strips that most people use in the scrappy technique look great but I just can't do it as it doesn't sit well with my OCD.
I've used the Stitched Stars dies to cut out the 3 stars. These are popped up on dimensionals for effect, with Gold Gilded Gems added to the centre for a bit of bling.
In hindsight, the decoration would probably last longer if the stars were stuck directly onto the tin!

Boho Indigo DSP Series - Make a Difference with a Thank You Card

Today I'm sharing a simple thank you card I've created using the patterned paper from the Boho Indigo Product Medley.

The paper in the Boho Indigo Product Medley & Refill is so beautiful and so easy to miss in the catalogue. I think this is because it is on page 9 of the Annual Catalogue (and not included in the DSP section,,as you can't buy the paper on its own).
I love to play around with different sized layers. Sometimes it might be based around the size of my scrap piece of DSP and sometimes I just want large borders with super thin border layers, just like this card.
Here are the measurements:
- Card base (Very Vanilla) - 29.7 cm x 10.5 cm (score at 14.9 cm)
- Layer 1 (Misty Moonlight) - 8.0 cm x 12.4 cm
- Layer 2 (Very Vanilla) - 7.8 cm x 12.2 cm
- Layer 3 (DSP) - 7.6 cm x 12.0 cm
I decided to make my own Thank You sentiment using the Make a Difference stamp set.
I stamped my sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock and used one of the dies from the Tasteful Labels dies to cut it out. I then added some flowers from the Boho Indigo Product Medley around the edge.
Have you seen the Make a Difference stamp set before? It's been in the last three Annual Catalogues and I only just noticed it a few months ago! Crazy right?
This is such a useful stamp set to have in your collection! You can easily personalise your cards or create the sentiments you need!
One of the fonts is a lovely script font and because they are clear photopolymer stamps, it's super easy to line up each letter so that they connect.

We're past the halfway point with my Boho Indigo DSP Series!
I hope you are enjoying the series so far? If you are visiting my blog for the first time, I'm demonstrating how versatile the Boho Indigo Product Medley is and just how much you can create with one pack. I've created nine papercraft and home decor projects and I still have product left over!
There are four more projects still to come! A pencil tin, thank you card, a wreath and a stationery set. I've had so much fun creating all of them but I am super excited about the last two!! They were both a real labour of love and I am so happy with the end result. I can't wait to show them to you!
Here is project number five! I have created another Shadow Box Book Card. This is completely different in design to my Peony Garden version but I've used exactly the same structure, I just haven't added the note card and I've utilised the concertina sides to decorate the frame.
I love how this 3D card looks like a book when closed. It's so effective and a fun technique to use!

In my video tutorial, I show you how I decorated the Shadow Box Book Card with the Peony Garden Suite but you can decorate it any way you like! Once you know the structure, the possibilities are endless!
This version of the Shadow Box Book Card would look absolutely stunning using multiple colours, especially when stamping with the Forever Fern stamps. You could use soft subtle colours or bright vibrant colours - whatever your style!
I was determined to make all of the papercraft projects within the Boho Indigo Series monotone designs, using just Very Vanilla and Misty Moonlight - adding a few embellishments here and there. So today's version is simply stamped in Misty Moonlight onto Very Vanilla cardstock.
I die cut the Forever Fern stamps with the Forever Flourishing dies and attached them at different depths, using glue dots, to the inside of the concertina frame. It creates dimension, a kind of jungle effect!
I created a matching gift box to fit the shadow box book card too. In my video tutorial, I also show you how to make this!
I haven't added any decoration other than the DSP and Cardstock as I want the card to be the main attraction.
Of course you don't need a gift box but hey, makers are gonna make!

Christmas crafting is my all time favourite. I can't wait for my new stamp sets, dies, patterned paper and ribbon to arrive.
