Another really quick card from me today. I wanted to use some of the new In Colour Designer Series Paper and also try out my new Butterfly Thinlit Dies and this is what I came up with. I have loved
seeing everyone's projects made using this die. I wasn't going to buy it but when I saw it in the new catalogue, I thought it was time to jump on the bandwagon.
There are 4 designs available in each pack of the new Designer Series Paper - Polka Dots, Writing (you cna see the pattern in the smaller oval in the picture above), Diagonal Stripes & Tiny Flowers. So far I have got this paper in the Subtles colours and the In colours for 2014 - 2016.

I love stationery so I decided to make a matching notebook, calendar & paperclip pot using the Lotus Blossom Photopolymer Stamp Set that you can earn for free during Sale-a-Bration.
The flower on the Lotus Blossom Photopolymer Stamp Set comes in 3 pieces (see product link below). As the stamps and blocks are clear, you can stamp over the first image with the next two pieces to get the detail on the flower. It's up to you, you can either start with the largest or smallest stamp because Stampin' Up! have made it really easy to line the stamps up together. This is an amazing, easy technique, only possible to do with photopolymer stamps!
For all three pieces of stationery, I have used Lost Lagoon as the main colour and have added either Rich Razzleberry or Blackberry Bliss as accent colours.
This little calendar was quick and easy to make. Its difficult to see in this picture, but it does have a base so it can stand freely and it can also be hung up using the Stitched Satin Ribbon.

Do you recognise this little pot? I was clearing up after Christmas Dinner and was just about to recycle the glass ramakins that came with the GU desserts.... and suddenly inspiration came to me.... they would make perfect paperclip pots!!! (obviously)
A little Designer Series Paper, some Linen Thread and 3 perfectly placed Rich Razzleberry Brights Designer Buttons - and here we have a creation that I came up with when I was ready to collapse on Christmas Day!

One of the projects I have for you this week is a screen card I made a few weeks ago. I had a lovely 3 days visiting my grandma and aunties in Utrecht (Holland) and I wanted to say Thank You for their hospitality.
I CASED this card (copy and share everything) from a fellow Pinkie called Linda Parker - click here to see some of her designs on her youtube channel.
I chose Hello Honey for this card as its such a warm colour and I wanted my card to brighten her day. I used the Hopeful Thoughts Stamp Set as one of the stamps is perfect for the background. I combined this with punched out butterflies adorned beautiful with rhinestone jewels for a bit of glamour.
I also distresssed the edges with the Stampin' Distress Tool. (In the next few weeks I am going to be doing a feature on all of my favourite Stampin' Up Tools )
When I arrived at my Grandma's house in July I was really touched to see that the card in a box I had sent to her for her Birthday in April was still on display (if you haven't seen a card in a box before, make sure you subscribe to my blog as I am planning on making an extra special version for a birthday in October).
This card doesn't fit in a standard envelope so I made one using cordinating designer series paper and the envelope punch board. The envelope punch board is perfect for those occasions where you spent ages making a card only to find you don't have an envelope that fits!

Today's project is a cute coordinating Thank You Card & Gift Box set. I am definitly going to make this card again using another colour family!
I kept the colours simple by using Lost Lagoon as the main colour for my Cardstock, Designer Series Paper & Ribbon.
I used the Word Window Punch and Modern Label Punch with the Thank You sentiment from the stamp set Lots of Thanks.
I also made a matching small Gift Box which is the perfect size for some sweets, chocolates or even some jewellery.
I just love that its possible to make a matching Card and Gift Box set. I really like to coordinate my gifts and wrap as I feel it shows my family & friends that I've put some thought into a gift from the content to the packaging.
