Global Design Project - Case the designer Krista Frattin challenge #GDP072 - Thank you card feat. the Penned and Painted stamp set.

Here is my entry for this weeks Global Design Project. The theme this week is to CASE the designer. In this challenge, CASE means to Copy and Selectively Edit.
I had already made this card before I saw Krista Frattin's card but I feel it meets the brief and I hope you do too.
I made this thank you card for orders placed with me in January - so if you shopped with me, thank you and I hope that you have received it by now!
I'm going to be placing an order soon and in it will include some new watercolour pens - until I receive these I've been using my wink of stella pen with my ink pads. For this card I used Wisteria Wonder, Perfect Plum and Elegant Eggplant ink. The stamped images are from the Penned and Painted stamp set and this is the first time I've used it and I really like it.

To make this card, I cut my card base from Basic Black cardstock then added a mat of Island Indigo before adding the zebra print DSP. I stamped the sentiment "You are too kind. Thank You" using the One Big Meaning stamp set and layered it onto a mat of Island Indigo & Basic Black to match the card base. I then completed the design by adding a small Rhinestone above the 'i' in kind.

I've had lots of time in my craft room over the last few weeks as well, playing with new products from the new Annual Catalogue and the upcoming Autumn/Winter Catalogue. I'll be posting regularly again so get ready for some Halloween & Christmas themed projects alongside another Series showcasing the simply stunning Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper.
So here we go, here are two thank you cards I've made using paper from the new 6" x 6" Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack.
This card has a Chocolate Chip base and a layer of Mint Macaron DSP, which I've aged using Sahara Sand ink round the edges. I've used the One Big Meaning stamp set to stamp the sentiment in
Chocolate Chip ink. I've then used the flowers and leaves from the Endless Thanks photopolymer stamp set underneath the sentiment in Mint Macaron and Chocolate Chip ink, to coordinate with the cardstock and paper used.
This card is exactly the same except for the colours I've used. It has a Basic Gray base and a layer of Old Olive DSP, which I've aged using Smokey Slate ink round the edges. I've used Basic Gray to stamp the sentiment and the flowers and leaves are stamped in Old Olive and Basic Gray ink.
